Sometimes a decision, however uneasy it seems, is an unfortunate necessity. With the passing years its commemoration hurts a little lesser but sinks your heart always a little more, something stays stuck in your throat and refuses to pass for hours. Grief, like water, borrows the contours of the soul it occupies. It’s never the same for everyone.
